West Up. We have a dope new song from TDE artist Kendrick Lamar, formerly known as K.Dot. The Compton rapper decided to get more personal and rep his true name instead of a rap one. Check out his short statement about the name change below and then the new song, titled "Beyonce" where he creatively professes his admiration for the famous singer.

The competitiveness of the music game is what 1st got me to love hip-hop. As a young man in Compton CA, growing up around the NWA movement. Seeing that at a young age put the drive in me, to get in the booth and go in. But now as I get older, I have seen more places, & learned more things. My out look on music has changed . I'm just ready to tell the world my story,
